Others – Login Widget with Shortcode, Auto Login on Register for BuddyBoss, Kirki Customizer Framework, LiteSpeed Cache, Mega Elements: Addons for Elementor, WP Child Theme Generator, and Akismet Anti-Spam.

Description:

This is a social media webpage powered by the BuddyX theme and chiefly the BuddyBoss Plugin. The BuddyBoss plugin was used mainly to build the totality of the site’s functionality, alongside other plugins plus the Elementor theme builder for the Login Page. The News Feed was set as the home page. It has in it a main feed widget that is mobile, which makes it possible for all members to view and interact with their posts.

You can either log in as a member or register as a new member. There is also a “Lost Password” link.

Registration Page. Clicking on “register” on the login UI redirects you here. This is where you register as a new member.

NEWSFEED(HOME PAGE)

News Feed: sambiatwpdev.online

The News feed page serves as the home page and the first UI a new member, or member interacts with after they have either registered or logged in.

This is the profile page. It has its custom menu(User Menu) displayed on the left side. You can also view all your posts on this page. It has the member’s profile picture, and also gives room to include a cover photo for a background. This page gives a user-friendly functionality, as you can access every other interface from the profile page.

Members Page: This makes it possible for a member to view all other members on the site. On this interface, you can also view members that have established mutual connections with you.

Forum Page. An online discussion interface where users can communicate via posts. Messages are frequently longer than one line of text and are at least briefly stored, which makes them different from chat rooms.

This is a Single Group Page. Consists of members of a subset of the social media site categorized by a common interest.

This is the footer area. Has in it four widgets that provide useful information to members. It also makes the site user-friendly providing swift and easy navigation to other interfaces of the site.

Conclusion: This project was put together in less than a week, and it has the potential to become a fantastic social media site with more time and resources. Overall, it was a fun experience for my partner and me. A big shout out to SideHustle for an opportunity like this to learn and get better. Please feel free to engage with this post.
